<p>Members of civil society organizations from across the country marched on the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security on 24 March to protest against the new non-profit organization bill, concerned that it would be used to restrict freedom of association in Thailand.</p>

<p>Friends, family, and activists gathered in Chiang Mai on Thursday (17 March 2022) to remember murdered indigenous activist Chaiyaphum Pasae on the fifth anniversary of his death, while no perpetrators have been brought to justice.</p>

<p>7 out of 9 activists who pleaded by the police for temporary detention for surveying public perceptions of royal motorcades have been released on bail.</p>

<p>A 64-year-old man who was shot in the head with a rubber bullet during police dispersal of a protest at the Din Daeng Intersection on 15 August 2021 has died after being paralyzed by his injury.</p>
