Several volunteers collecting signatures for a campaign to introduce an amnesty bill for pro-democracy activists and protesters reported being harassed by police officers over the 14-day campaign, said Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR).

For the past two weeks, photojournalist Natthaphon Phanphongsanon has been continuously harassed by police officers, who were stationed in front of his condominium and who coerced the building’s management into giving them information about him and CCTV footage of his activity.

<p>Two men who claimed to be officers from Krathumbaen Police Station, Samut Sakhon, visited missing activist Siam Theerawut&rsquo;s mother at her home on Tuesday (29 March), claiming to be looking for Siam, and asked to enter the house without presenting IDs or a warrant.</p>

<p>Historian Charnvit Kasetsiri, former Rector of Thammasat University, has reported being harassed by a group of men, possibly plainclothes police, who visited him at his condominium building, claiming that he was backing student protests.</p>
