<p>Today a group of human rights students, Mahidol university joined with Burmeses in Thailand gathering to protest in front of Chinese embassy demanding intervention with Burmese military to stop killing protesters and support human rights in Burma.</p>
<p>If everybody we know emails a request (not for tickets, but for China&#39;s action for Burma) to <a href="mailto:[email protected]" target="_blank" onclick="return top.js.OpenExtLink(window,event,this)">[email protected]</a>, it will significantly slow down Olympics ticket sales and call China&#39;s attention to the matter. China may ignore protests, hunger strikes, petitions, wearing-red shirts, etc. But China cannot ignore these emails, which get in the way of processing Olympics ticket requests.</p>
<p>Today is the National Day for the People&#39;s Republic of China,&nbsp;we would like to take this opportunity&nbsp;to remind the Chinese government the background that they took power from the oppressive regime. There will be a protest in front of the Chinese Embassy organized by the Democracy in Burma Concern Group, Mahidol University.</p>
<p>33 Organizations Coalition for Peace and Human Rights are concern and pledging our solidarity and moral support to the struggling neighbour namely Burmese students and youth, monks, and various ethnicity in Burma for their legitimate call for a genuine democracy and social justice.</p>

<p><span>A network of Buddhist monks, nuns and lay people has submitted a letter of petition to the Sangha Administrative Council of Thailand demanding that they show support for the cessation of the use of violent suppression against hundreds of thousands of Buddhists protesting against the military junta in Burma. </span></p>
