<p>Sitanun Satsaksit, sister of missing activist-in-exile <a href="https://prachatai.com/english/node/9273">Wanchalearm Satsaksit</a>, has sent letters to three Thai government agencies asking for updates on their investigation into her brother&rsquo;s enforced disappearance, but has yet to receive a reply.</p>

<p>The Thai and Cambodian authorities have failed to investigate the disappearance of Thai activist in exile Wanchalearm Satsaksit, who was abducted from his residence in Phnom Penh on 4 June 2020, says Human Rights Watch.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Sitanan Satsaksit, sister of missing Thai activist Wanchalearm Satsaksit, testified to the Department of Special Investigation on 25 March on her brother&#39;s disappearance and said&nbsp;she has evidence of her brother being in Cambodia before he went missing.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Eight months after the disappearance of activist in exile Wanchalearm Satsaksit, his family is still searching for answers, while very little progress has been made by the authorities. &nbsp;</p>

<p>Two years after the disappearance of three Thai activists in exile in Laos, their families wait for answers as no progress has been made in the investigation.</p>

<p>The Cambodian authorities must redouble their efforts to thoroughly, independently and impartially investigate the disappearance of Thai dissident Wanchalearm Satsaksit and determine his fate and whereabouts, said Amnesty International today (8 December).</p>

<p>Six months after the disappearance of activist-in-exile Wanchalearm Satsaksit, his friends and representatives of Amnesty International went to the Cambodian Embassy in Bangkok to submit a name list of 14,157 individuals who urge Cambodian authorities to ensure&nbsp; effective, urgent, thorough and transparent investigation and to restore justice to Wanchalearm&rsquo;s family.</p>

<p>Sitanun Satsaksit, sister of missing activist-in-exile Wanchalearm Satsaksit, is travelling to Cambodia to testify in her brother&rsquo;s case, says <a href="https://www.amnesty.or.th/latest/news/864/">Amnesty International</a>.</p>

<p>Missing activist-in-exile Siam Theerawut&rsquo;s friends and family gathered for Siam&rsquo;s 35th birthday on Saturday (31 October), as his fate remains unknown.</p>
