Pol Gen Sereepisuth Temeeyaves announced yesterday (29 August) that the Seri Ruam Thai Party has withdrawn from the Pheu Thai-led government coalition because he was not given any position in the government and threatened to release information about former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

Former leader of the Thai Liberal Party, Sereepisuth Temeeyaves, has been sentenced to one year in prison for defamation after accusing the deputy leader of the Palang Pracharat Party, Paiboon Nititawan, of corruption.

Sereepisuth Temeeyaves, party list MP and the leader of the Thai Liberal Party (TLP), has announced his resignation from the party list MP position.  He will retain his role as the leader of the party.
