A case was filed by Mr. Chotisak On-soong and Ms. Chutima Penpak against Mr. Nawamin Wittayakul on charges concerning an act of violence not amounting to bodily or mental harm to the other person; insulting a person in his presence; mischief; an offence committed with the participation of five or more persons to compel another person to do or not to do any act; and quarrelling noisily in a public way or place.

The 46-day work stoppage by the Triumph International (Thailand) Labour Union ended after negotiations between the Labour union with Body Fashion (Thailand) Co. Ltd, which produces women’s underwear and swimwear. The two sides agreed that both sides will abide by the ruling of the court and that the company will not object to a petition to the court to reopen the case. It will be known on 23 September 2008 whether or not the court will reconsider the case.
