<p dir="ltr">A self-described Muslim insurgent member in a restive Deep South of Thailand released a video clip online, pointing out the Thai state’s hypocrisy in solving the southern conflict and vowing to fight on for independence. </p>
<p dir="ltr">The provincial court in central Thailand has allowed a reporter from Hong Kong charged with the violation the country’s Arm Control Act to go overseas.</p>

<p dir="ltr">The Appeal Court in the restive Deep South of Thailand has dismissed murder charges against two paramilitary officers one of whom confessed of killing three children in early 2014. </p>
<p>An anti-junta activist group has urged the junta to step down after the 2015 charter draft was rejected on Sunday, saying that the junta only wants to hold on to its power.</p>

<p>Thai Military and police officers stormed into a seminar about a Thai historical figure and forced the organisers to cancel the event, saying that it might be illegal under the volatile political situation.</p>
<p>According to Thai Lawyers for Human Rights (TLHR), many police and military officers in plainclothes on Sunday, 6 September 2015, came to Santhi Prachatham Library of Satienkoset-Nakaprateep Foundation in central Bangkok and forced a seminar about the life of Narin Phasit, 1874-1950, to be aborted.</p>

<p dir="ltr">At least 100 police and military officers prevented an anti-junta gathering ahead of the of National Reform Council (NRC)’s vote on the new charter in central Bangkok, saying that it is against the Public Assembly Act.</p>
<p>At about 3:30 pm, about 100 police officers mostly from Pathumwan Police Station in central Bangkok and military officers in plainclothes barricaded an area in front of Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) to prevent anti-junta activists their supporters to hold an event against the new constitution.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The Thai junta has prohibited an anti-establishment red shirt group to organise a discussion on the 2015 Constitution Draft, saying that the group would propagate false information to malise the regime. </p>
<p dir="ltr">The Criminal Court sentenced four people accused of shooting grenades into People’s Democratic Reform Committee (PDRC) protesters in early 2014 to death, but reduced the sentence to life imprisonment. </p>
<p>On Friday, morning the Southern Criminal Court of Bangkok handed down the death sentence to Chatchawan Prabbamrung, Somsri Marit, Sunthorn Pipuannog, and Tweechai Wichakam after convicted the four of murder and possessions of weapons of war, including, carrying illegal weapons in public. </p>
<p dir="ltr">A provincial court in Isan, Thailand’s Northeast, told villagers in a disputed area to leave their homes to make ways for the construction of Special Economic Zone (SEZs).</p>
