A 27-year-old man from Bangkok is facing a royal defamation complaint filed against him with the police in Songkhla over a tweet from 2021.

The King Protection Group has filed a royal defamation complaint against a Twitter user who goes by the name Sirivannavari Mahidol, Twitter handle @HkooVd, and uses a picture of the princess as a profile picture. 

<p>An ultra-royalist group has filed a royal defamation complaint against Move Forward party MP Amarat Chokepamitkul, after she posted a video clip on Twitter of herself speaking about court neutrality issues in royal defamation cases.</p>
