A 30-year-old man has been found guilty of royal defamation and given a suspended sentence of 1 year and 6 months for a post criticising Covid-19 vaccine production by the Siam Bioscience company.

The Supreme Court has upheld an Appeal Court order to ban Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit’s video clip ‘Royal Vaccine: Who benefits and who doesn't?’, saying that the clip attracted several comments which may affect national security.

A 30-year-old man has been indicted under the royal defamation law over his criticism of Siam Bioscience’s COVID-19 vaccine production in 2021, allegedly causing damage the highly respected monarchy.
