Three arrested in anti-coup protest in Chiang Mai

6.30 p.m. At least three anti-coup protesters (including one woman) have been seized and detained by soldiers from 7th Infantry Division at Chang Pauk Gate in Chiang Mai. Since the introduction of martial law on May 20, groups of protesters have gathered at the same spot to voice their opposition.

A large number of soldiers have now surrounded Chang Pauk Gate, presumably to prevent further demonstrations.
