<p>Thailand’s Foreign Affairs Ministry is attempting to convince other countries that those breaching the Thai lèse majesté law have committed a criminal offence not a political one. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, told the media on Wednesday that the Ministry is now trying to communicate with other countries where suspects under Article 112 of the Criminal Code, the lèse majesté law, are residing, in order to extradite them back to Thailand.</p>

<p>Thai military have summoned a village chief in Thailand’s northeast to a military base over a banner protesting against the junta’s draft constitution at an administrative meeting.</p> <p>According to&nbsp;<a href="http://www.bangkokbiznews.com/news/detail/649878">Krungthepturakij News</a>, military personnel from the Internal Security Operations Command (ISOC) of the northeastern province of Khon Kaen and police officers stormed into a provincial public administration meeting in Mueang District of Khon Kaen province at around 11 am on Tuesday.</p>

<p>The criminal court has refused to take legal action against the Thai junta leader and his associates for staging a coup d’état against the former elected administration and the former constitution.</p>
