Prayut Chan-o-cha has announced to be PM candidate; Phalang Pracharat Party confirmed earlier that he is only one candidate in the party’s list.

Almost at the same time after Thai Raksa Chart (TRC) Party confirms its PM candidate, Prayut Chan-o-cha follows to announce that he has accepted the invitation.

He said he does not intend to prolong his power, but for genuine national interest and people’s benefit.

Yesterday (8 February 2019), one-hour meeting has been held between Prayut Chan-o-cha and Gen. Anupong Paochinda, the Minister of Interior, without a specific schedule in advance. Some speculates that it was about his future as PM candidate.
