The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) released the red shirt United Front for Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD) leaders around 4.45 p.m. on Wednesday, after they had been summoned to the coup makers on May 22.
 
Thida Thawornset, Chatuporn Phrompan, Weng Tojirakarn, Natthawut Saikua were among the released, but a number of UDD leaders including Wiphuthalang Pattanaphumthai are still detained, according to Salaktham Tojirakarn, son of Thida and Weng.
 
They were released on condition that they would not carry out any political activities or acts that could violate the NCPO’s peace and order.
 
The anti-government PDRC leaders were  released earlier on Monday.
