The military early Monday morning brought the leaders of the pro-establishment People's Democratic Reform Committe (PDRC), including Suthep Thaugsuban, to the Criminal Court on Ratchadapisek road to meet with the public prosecutors after the Department of Special Investigation (DSI) filed charges of rebellion, the government’s Radio Thailand reported.

Because the charges were filed before the coup, this case will be tried in civilian court. The coup makers on Sunday announced that all cases related to national security and the monarchy will be tried in the Military Court,

Meanwhile, Ancharee Paireerak, a vocal PDRC leader, posted a picture of her with fellow PDRC leaders [where??]. The caption below the photograph read “My king and military officers took 7 PDRC leaders to the court. Woke up at 3 a.m., left at 4 a.m., arrived at the court at 5 a.m. You can come and wait for me. Let’s breath in the air of freedom. Love everyone. Love the nation.”
