The photos show the first night of the funeral, held at Samien Nari Temple, Bangkok. The funeral was attended by hundreds of red-shirt supporters and activists, including Nattawut Saikua, Jatuporn Prompan, Thida Thavornseth, Jaran Ditapichai and Suda Rangkupan.
A wreath from Somyos Phruksakasemsuk, a lese majeste prisoner, appeared at the funeral. Adisorn Piangkes, a prominent red-shirt activist, also composed a poem to honor Mainueng.
The politce is investigating the case.
