On the same day that PAD leader Sondhi Limthongkul was indicted for lèse majesté, the court postponed a case involving 85 yellow shirts who stormed the studios of state television channel NBT in August 2008.

The Criminal Court postponed the examination of evidence in the case to 9 Aug, as the public prosecutor had yet to send summonses to all witnesses.

85 security guards of the People’s Alliance for Democracy tried to seize National Broadcasting Television headquarters early on the morning of 26 Aug 2008, and were arrested that day.  They have been charged with illegal assembly, trespassing at night with arms, damaging property, carrying arms, and possessing narcotics.

According to their lawyer Rasmi Pensuk, there are about 200 prosecution witnesses, and 100 defence witnesses.  The hearing will start on 2 Sept.
