22.45 pm. Somdej Pramaha Theerajarn, Abbot of Wat Chana Songkram asked all sides to refrain from killing each other, and to forgive each other.

20.30 pm. Eight M79s were fired at Lumpini Police Station. Earlier, an M79 had been fired into Lumpini police flat. Two Police Senior Sergeant Majors were injured.

18.30 pm. The Student Federation of Thailand and Khlong Toei Community led by Pratheep Ungsongtham, set up a rally stage at the Khlong Toei intersection. Thousand of protesters have already participated in the rally.

17.10 pm. There was a clash between the military and demonstrators at Din Daeng intersection area including Soi Rang Nam. Five protesters were quickly injured while paramedics did not dare to enter the area.

16.45 pm. A Por Tek Tung Foundation employee was shot and killed near Bon Kai area, while he was trying to help move the wounded away from the scene of a clash.

16.28 pm. Soldiers fired into the protesters at Din Daeng intersection area. Mr. Chaiwat Pumphuang, photographer for The Nation was shot in the thigh by real bullets. Reporters stated that "bullets were fired at a group of reporters”.

14:00 pm. In the Bon Kai area, protestors burned tyres at 6-7 locations. Two protesters were shot in the thigh by gunfire and sent to Lertsin Hospital.

13.50 pm. Nattawut Saikue, Secretary of the National United Front of Democracy Against Dictatorship (UDD), requested the media to help check the Wat Thaphan area, Ratchaprarob Soi 27, because it was suspected that the military had hidden dead bodies at that particular area.

13.40 pm. In an area from Ratchaprarob to Din Deang intersection, the military has posted warning signs declaring “Live Ammunition Area” with unauthorized personnel strictly banned from the area.

13:20 pm Fully armed military officers surrounded the fence of the Dusit Thani hotel at and nearby areas. All roads were closed while the protesters moved 100 metres away from the barricaded area.

12.58 pm The Red Shirt website announced three meeting points for a march into the main protest area after the Ratchaprasong stage announced that rations are needed.

11.40 am Two explosions and scattered gunfire were heard in front of the U Chu Liang building on Rama IV Road. fired.

09.45 am. Continued explosions were heard in the Ratchaprarob area. As a result, two protesters were injured including a sixty-year-old man who was shot in the right foot. Meanwhile under the expressway at Rama IV, there were clashes between protesters and the authorities. Gunshots were heard at Witthayu intersection.  Latest information is that the military presence in the area increased to two companies.

09.30 am. At an official checkpoint near the Bon Kai area, there was a shooting which resulted in 3-4 people being shot in the chest from a high place.

09.20 am. There was a 10-minute shooting incident at Ratchaprarob Road. A Coca Cola employee was injured and a few other wounded could not be moved from the scene because the incident occurred near a military bunker.

09:00 am At Witthayu intersection, green Bangkok Metropolitan garbage truck was set on fire.

In the early morning of May 15, an M79 was shot at the military near Lumpini boxing stadium. Protesters burned 2 public telephone booths and destroyed a police booth near the Thai-Belgium Bridge. A protester in a truck drove past a military checkpoint at high speed in order to deliver food to the Ratchaprasong stage but the military shot out the tyres and stopped the truck.

03.20 am. INN reported that Vachira Hospital paramedics had succeeded in helping two wounded persons who were shot near Soi Rang Nam.

02:00 am. Thai TV reported that there were shots fired in Soi Rang Nam during a clash between military troops and UDD protesters. The wounded victims could not be sent to hospital because the military had surrounded the area and prohibited outsiders from entering.

01.30 am. At Din Daeng intersection the situation was tense. A large number of people (in the thousands) entered the area. One explosion sounding like a bomb was heard.

00.30 am. A van failed to stop at a police checkpoint; officials shot out the tyres and the body of the van was heavily damaged by bullet holes. As a result the driver was shot in the ribs and is in a serious condition. A ten-year-old child was also shot by a stray bullet in the abdomen while a taxi driver was also shot in the torso; both are in critical condition.

00.45 am. Spring News reported that in the Din Daeng Intersection area, the electricity was cut off leaving the area dark. A few protesters shouted and used rocks and sticks to smash the front window of the Bangkok Bank Din Daeng branch while some people shouted no.
