Bang Khen police arrested a sergeant-major and Bangkok municipal officials for destroying UDD campaign signs.

The Daily News website reported on 1 April that Pol Lt Col Preecha Iamphoka at Bang Khen Police Station received a complaint from Anusorn Panthong, a Phuea Thai MP, that a group of men were cutting and destroyeing placards calling for a House dissolution at the Monument of Constitution Protection at Laksi.

The police went there and made arrests.  The perpetrators were found to be a sergeant-major and Bangkok municipal officials.

The sergeant major admitted to the police that he had been ordered by the Peace Keeping Command Centre to destroy the banners.

After the soldier made a phone call to a military officer and negotiated with the police, he was released, as Anusorn did not wish to pursue the case, only asking the police to record the incident in the police blotter.
