The family of Vorapach Padmasakul, a military conscript who died after being beaten during disciplinary action, is pressing charges against the camp’s training commander for allowing the assault to take place, the Cross-Cultural Foundation (CrCF) said.

Two army instructors have been given a prison sentence, along with 11 other conscripts acting as the instructors’ assistants, for the beating and death of an 18-year-old military conscript in Chonburi.
