The Constitutional Court has dismissed a treason complaint filed against the ruling Pheu Thai Party and its patriarch, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, on the grounds that there is not enough evidence to prove that they committed treason.

A treason complaint filed against the ruling Pheu Thai Party and its patriarch, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, has been dismissed by the Office of the Attorney General (OAG).

The ruling Pheu Thai Party and its patriarch, Thaksin Shinawatra, have been hit with a new legal challenge in the form of a petition filed with the Constitutional Court for alleged treason - similar to one that brought down the Move Forward Party (MFP).
