Princess Bajrakitiyabha, King Vajiralongkorn’s eldest child, has passed away at age 47 after almost 4 years in a coma, the Bureau of the Royal Household announced today (12 June).

Following its 15 August statement about Princess Bajrakitiyabha’s health condition, the Bureau of the Royal Household has issued a further announcement that her condition continues to be closely monitored.

Princess Bajrakitiyabha, who has been hospitalized since she collapsed from a heart condition in 2022, is being treated for a severe bloodstream infection, said a statement from the Bureau of the Royal Household.
