<p>This November, the Thai government will have to answer all concerns expressed by UN Members over human rights violations in the country. For the 3rd cycle of the Universal Periodic Review (UPR), student groups in Thailand have submitted a report to the Working Group, revealing that the Thai government has not delivered on the promises made to the international community 5 years ago.</p>

<p>The student activist group Nisit Chula Party held a rally last Thursday (29 October) to speak out against the violence committed by the state against dissenting voices and the culture of impunity which means preparators often are never brought to justice.</p>

<p>Students at Chulalongkorn University staged an anti-government protest on Friday (14 August) despite resistance from the university and heavy rain which forced them to find a new location. &nbsp;</p>
