Dozens of Thai workers have attempted to abscond to Finland to collect wild berries even though the Thai government has suspended the Thai berry pickers quota due to claims of human trafficking.

<p>Jon Åström Gröndahl, the Swedish Ambassador to Thailand, has announced that the Embassy will halt assistance to Thais to go picking berries in Sweden after hearing claims of shadow contracts and fake documents.</p>
