<p>Yesterday [22 Jan], the <a href="http://www.enlightened-jurists.org/">Khana Nitirat</a>, the group of seven lecturers at Thammasat University who work to put law in the service of the people, held a public seminar on the nullifcation of the 2007 Constitution.&nbsp; The Sriburapha Auditorium at Thammasat University was overflowing with people listening inside, and exchanging ideas, browsing books and doing political performance art outside.</p>
<p>&lsquo;Soldiers, don&rsquo;t sit still. Come out and seize power.&nbsp; PAD supporters across the country will join the soldiers to seize Thailand back from those scoundrels,&rsquo; said Sondhi Limthongkul in a broadcast <a href="http://www.manager.co.th/Politics/ViewNews.aspx?NewsID=9550000009019">programme</a> on ASTV on 20 Jan. </p>

<p>In a sign of increasing online witch-hunting against its political opponents, ASTV-Manager daily newspaper, the mouthpiece of the yellow-shirt People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), on Monday produced the picture and name of the latest man charged under lese majeste laws.</p>
<p>The number of Facebook users opposing a House dissolution has increased to over 300,000, while the red shirts can get only thousands.&nbsp; The number of fans of Abhisit has reached 200,000, or more than 10 times those of Thaksin, ASTV-Manager reports.</p>
<p>ASTV-Manager has resigned from the board of the Thai Journalist Association in protest after the media body released a statement opposing the government&rsquo;s closure of the red shirt People Channel or PTV. &nbsp;Its representative said the red-shirt TV should be closed because it is not loyal to the monarchy, unlike ASTV which adheres to what is right and just.</p>
<p>Nai In stores have stopped selling <em>Khabuankan Lom Chao</em> (Movement to Topple the Monarchy), part of the ASTV/Manager network. &nbsp;The yellow camp media argue on academic grounds that the book has not been spiced up as a smear. &nbsp;</p>
<p><a href="http://www.taksin-voice.com/">A red-shirt magazine</a> issued during the New Year has a feature article about Thaksin and King Taksin, who rescued Siam from the Burmese over 200 hundred years ago. &nbsp;ASTV-Manager finds this a serious affront to the current dynasty.</p>
